We are here!!!

We have arrived safely in Burkina Faso! I am writing now from the SIM guest house and headquarters in Ouagadougou where we spent the night. Yesterday most of our group took a tour by taxi of Casablanca and stopped off a local artisan market and to see the city's largest mosque. We had a fun afternoon getting a glimpse into Moroccan culture before heading back to the airport. Our plane landed in Burkina around midnight local time and we were able to collect our luggage quite quickly and get out to where Dale and Flo Johnson were waiting for us. All 24 bags have made it here in one peice, praise the Lord! Some of the men are loading up the vehicles right now and we will be hitting the road shortly for the 3 hour drive to Fada. We will be in Fada for 3 days serving at the missions conference where Ian will speaking and some members of the team will be facilitating a program for the children. After that we'll be off to Mahadaga. 

Thank you for your prayers of safety in our travel! Pray that we will adapt quickly to the heat and not feel jet-lagged as we hit the ground running today.
